Blackbutt

Often referred to as the ‘Timber town’, Blackbutt is the common name for the Eucalyptus Piluralis tree, native to the area.

Surrounded by native forests, Blackbutt has a strong agricultural history and is abundant with crops of avocados, olives and macadamia farms showcased each year with the Bloomin' Beautiful Blackbutt Avocado Festival.

Beyond it's agricultural roots, Blackbutt also boasts arguably one of the best country bakeries around! Make sure to pop in and grab yourself a souvenir for the road or take a trip around the town, making sure to check out the Roy Emerson Museum, Nukku Nook, as well as a regional cellar door operating inside the Blackbutt Art Gallery.
